Admissions at PEP Schoolv2

Admissions are open across all our programs, from 15 months through Grade 10, at our campuses in Bangalore and Hyderabad. Our process is built around mutual fit: we want to understand your child and family, and we want you to genuinely understand how PEP works, before either of us commits. Among families where the fit works, seats are offered in order of application, based on availability.

How admissions work, step by step

1. Tell us about your child.
Fill in the enquiry form below or write to contact@pepschoolv2.com. Tell us your child's age, the campus you're considering, and what you're looking for.

2. Join an information conversation and school tour.
A conversation with our team about how PEP works: Montessori, mixed-age classrooms, how we assess learning without constant exams, and what we ask of families. We usually pair this with a tour of the campus, so you see the environments your child would learn in. Bring every question you have; the practical details (timings, transport, daycare, fees) are all discussed openly here.

3. Read and reflect.
We send you a detailed introduction to the Montessori approach and a short questionnaire. This isn't a test. It helps both of us see whether what PEP does matches what your family wants from a school.

4. Your child visits a classroom (the observation).
Typically for children aged 3 and above: your child spends time in a real classroom environment. (Full section below; it's the step parents ask about most.)

5. For Elementary and High School: you observe a classroom too.
After your child's visit, we invite parents of Elementary and High School applicants to spend time in a working classroom themselves. Seeing older children plan, work, and manage their own learning answers questions that no brochure can.

6. We review fit together.
Our team reviews the observations and your questionnaire, and a follow-up conversation with PEP's founders or program leads may be scheduled. If we believe PEP isn't the right setting for your child's needs, we'll say so honestly. That's rare, but it's part of taking your child seriously.

7. Offer and joining plan.
Where the fit works and a seat is available, we confirm the offer, joining date, and settling-in plan. Seats go in order of application among suitable families.

What the classroom observation is (and isn't)

What it is: your child spends a short session inside a working classroom, with our educators present. We watch how your child engages with the environment. Not to grade them, but to understand what they need: their comfort, curiosity, and stage of development. It also gives your child a first taste of the environment, which helps enormously with settling in later. And it's how we begin to understand your child as an individual: if we move forward together, what we learn here helps us hit the ground running, because personalising your child's learning starts with knowing them.

What it is NOT: an entrance test. There is no pass or fail, no academic screening, nothing your child should prepare for. Children cannot "do badly" at an observation.

What you should do: nothing special. Don't coach your child or build it up. A normal morning, a normal breakfast, and we take it from there. After the observation, we'll share what we noticed in a debrief conversation.

Good questions to bring to your meeting

If your child is under 3: How does settling-in work, and what's the plan if my child struggles with separation? What should we tell you about food, allergies, naps, and toilet learning? How will I know how my child's day went?

If your child is 3-6: How do reading, writing, and maths develop without worksheets and homework? What does a normal day look like? How will you tell me how my child is progressing?

If your child is 6+: How does PEP keep learning rigorous without exams and rankings? How does a child joining from a conventional school adjust? What does the pathway toward IGCSE look like from here?

Practical information

Fees: shared and discussed during the admissions conversation, along with exactly what they include.

• Timings: vary by program and campus; shared during the admissions conversation.

• Daycare and extended care: available for enrolled students (not offered as a standalone service).

• Transport: available on select routes via school-operated buses. Our own buses and staff, not an outsourced service.

• Mid-year admissions: possible where seats are available. Ask us.
